The Grasshopper 2.0 completes our range of Dual Action Random Orbital polishers and is an absolutely essential bit of kit for any detailer.

With its 12mm orbit and 3” backing pad, the Grasshopper gets into the tight areas where the larger dual action polishers simply cannot get to. Think door jams, sills, tricky lips and lids. Boasting a new rubberised grip, increased ventilation ports for improved heat dissipation and NSK bearings all round, the Grasshopper 2.0 was made for excellent ergonomics over prolonged use.

Combine this with a set of our German Foam 3” pads and a cutting, polishing and finishing polish to tackle any job at hand.

CLARITY SERIES

MEDIUM - Polishing/one step compound

 Removes P2000 sanding marks and finer

• Glossy finish
• Low dust formulation
• No fillers or waxes
• Silicone-Free (bodyshop safe)

Perfect for:

• One step compound
• Hologram removal
• Moderate scratches to heavy marring

Instructions: Work on a cool surface in shade. Shake well. Always work in a 40cm x 40cm area.

Application: Apply 2-3 pea sized drops to a polishing pad, such as Apex Customs’ Polishing Pad. Start on a low-speed setting with the polisher to prime the pad and surface. Dial the speed up and guide the polisher on the surface and allow the weight of the polisher and compound to do the work. Work area in 3-4 passes until compound becomes clear. Remove residue with a clean microfibre cloth.

Tips:

• Decontaminate the surface prior to beginning any polishing/compounding
• Do not over-saturate the pad with polish
• Clean pads frequently with compressed air or if not available, ensure fresh pads are on hand.

FINE - Fine finishing compound

• Removes P3000 sanding marks and finer
• Mirror finish
• Low dust formulation
• No fillers or waxes
• Silicone-free (bodyshop safe)

Perfect for:

• Dark paintwork
• Swirl removal
• Mirror like finish
• Micro-marring

Apex Customs Nano Quartz Multi-Surface Ceramic Coating - 50ml

Introducing the professional grade 'Nano Quartz' ceramic coating kit designed for all painted surfaces including PPF & Vinyl which comes complete with the Base Coat, Prime, and Top Seal including an applicator block, several suede cloths, nitrile gloves and spray bottles.

BASE COAT is a 9H layer of glass that cures over painted surfaces to increase the hardness of the surface. A 110° water contact angle ensures tight water beading resulting in hydrophobic self-cleaning properties. BASE COAT has a durability of 24 months.

PRIME is a surface preparation spray designed to effectively remove grease and any polish oils that may remain on the surface. PRIME prepares the surface for BASE COAT to maximise bonding between the surface and the ceramic coat.

TOP SEAL is a silicon-based polymer based spray on sealant to prevent water spotting during curing and extends the hydrophobic properties of BASE COAT. Use every 3 months to boost gloss levels and prolong hydrophobic properties

APPLICATION:

For best results, the surface must be prepared meticulously. All surfaces must be thoroughly washed and decontaminated with iron removers/clay bars (even if the car is new).

Any defects existing in the paintwork will be 'locked in' by the coating, therefore you will want to correct paint where necessary to ensure your car will look its best when protected.
