The Karate Kid 2.0 is our entry level random orbital polisher designed from the ground up. Featuring an 8mm throw with a standard 5” backing pad, this polisher is perfect for correcting and polishing. The M8 female screw on the shaft of the polisher also provides the flexibility to mount other backing plates.

Dual action random orbital polisher rotates through the momentum created by the high speed orbital motion. As there is no direct link between the rotations and orbit, this makes dual action random orbital polishers the safest tools to use for beginners but also enables effective paint correction.

The 6 inch Yellow polishing pad has a medium density foam suited for slight to medium paint correction. It is used after cutting to remove heavy swirl marks created when cutting.

The 6 inch Red finishing pad is ideal for the application of primer type finishing polishes after general polishing to bring through that gloss and new car shine.

Oberk Supreme Cut (SC) was formulated to provide a premium option for compounding or heavy polishing.  With the most innovative and premium abrasives in the world, this polish combines unmatched cutting ability, and offers incomparable results. This compound is required for step 1 in the Oberk Supreme system.

Instructions

STEP 1: Correction Stage

Suggested pad to use: Oberk Orange Microfiber Cutting Pad.

• Always lightly prime the pad to avoid dry buffing. Apply 4 pea sized dots to the face of foam or microfiber cutting pad, wool pads may require additional product.
• Spread product over a 16 x 16" area, and polish. Wipe excess residue, and inspect.

Oberk Supreme Polish (SP) was formulated to provide a premium option for polishing and finishing on even the softest, dark painted finishes, and brilliant clarity. With the most innovative and premium diminishing abrasives in the world, this polish offers what other polishes lack to provide. The formula provides a perfect balance of consistency or viscosity, ability to work well with microfiber and foam pads, and without the use of heavy solvents, silicones or oils. This polish is required for step 2 in the Oberk Supreme DUO system.

Instructions
This is step 2 in the Oberk Supreme DUO system. This product is considered a finishing or fine scratches removal polish.

Suggested pad to use: Oberk Red Supreme Polishing Pad.

DUO STEP 2: Finishing Stage

• Prime your foam polishing pad with Supreme Polish. Use 4-6 pea-sized drops. Apply 2 pea-sized dots of product on sections after work. Work in 2 x 2' areas and handle product until a fine film develops.
• Remove residue with a quality microfiber towel.

GTECHNIQ Crystal Serum Light CSL 5 Year Paint Protectant Coating

Crystal Serum Light is the prosumer version of the world famous GTECHNIQ Accredited Detailer Crystal Serum Ultra. It offers 80% of professional Serum Ultra’s performance, but if applied incorrectly can be machine polished from your vehicle's paintwork.

When it comes to adding gloss, resisting swirls, contaminant and dirt repellency, GTECHNIQ Crystal Serum Ultra and Serum Light are the pinnacle in paint protection.

Serum Light forms an ultra-durable, high-gloss, slick to the touch, chemically bonding inorganic layer of 9h optically clear ceramic. Once applied, gloss levels will remain in the upper 90th percentile for significantly longer when compared to traditional paint protection products, and cleaning your car will be a breeze.

The high density ceramic layer is resistant to chemicals ranging from pH2 - pH12. This characteristic also makes bonded contaminants such as tree sap, tar, and hard water spots, easy to remove.

Unlike mainstream wax and organic polymer coatings, Serum Light can resist much higher and lower temperatures. Temperatures as low as -40­° to as high as +250°c.

Application:

• To apply Crystal Serum Light (CSL) make sure your vehicle is indoors and can stay indoors for 12 hours after application, do not apply in direct sunlight
• Only apply the product at a temperature between 5°c and 25°c
• Shake well and wear gloves
• Wash and decontaminate W6 your paintwork thoroughly prior to application. If required, polish your paintwork, either by machine or hand, to remove any imperfections
• Spray Panel Wipe into a GTECHNIQ MF1 Microfibre Cloth and wipe down each panel in small sections
• Soak the application pad with 3 full measures of CSL from the pipette and work the liquid into the pad to get an even saturation
• Replace the lid on the bottle and set aside - do not keep the bottle in your hand as this promotes premature curing
• Apply in overlapping strokes to an area roughly 2ft by 2ft, or work to the bodylines of the vehicle
• Immediately 10 to 15 seconds remove residue with an MF1 cloth - you may need to buff the same area several times, but avoid doing it with too much force. We recommend the use of  2 cloths at any one time. Make sure the cloths are rotated during residue removal to prevent CSL curing in the cloth- this can make buffing residue difficult
• Inspect the surface for residue with a bright, diffused light source
• If you remove residue and it cured fully you should polish the area and reapply CSL
• As soon as you finish, put you MF1 cloths in water, wash and dry them as soon as possible
• Wait approximately 2 hours after applying CSL to apply EXO Ultra Durable Hydrophobic Coating, or C2 Liquid Crystal
• Store in a cool, dry place
• Use within 3 months of opening

GTECHNIQ EXOv4 Ultra Durable Hydrophobic Coating 24 Month Durability

EXOv4 delivers a hard film that makes water-spots easy to remove, offers great resistance to all wash chemicals and can help withstand micro-marring. It produces a high-gloss, warm-looking, extreme hydrophobic finish.

It has a consistent film that is more durable and resistant to road salt and wash chemicals than its predecessors. Application is easy, with a slow flash-off time, giving more time to achieve a perfect finish.

All of the above combined with the introduction of a good degree of swirl resistance means EXOv4 represents a major leap forward in Last Surface Protection (LSP) technology.

Instructions:

• EXOv4 can be applied as a stand-alone sealant or as a top layer for Crystal Serum Light (CSL) or C1 Crystal Lacquer (recommended particularly for darker colours, easy to mark paintwork or if added swirl resistance and durability are required).
• Leave between 2 and 12 hours for C1 to cure before applying EXO v4
• Can be applied immediately over CSL (start at the same point and follow the panels in order). Do not leave CSL for longer than 24 hours if planning to apply EXOv4.
• Ensure vehicle is clean and dry, and the paintwork is swirl-free and prepared with Panel Wipe (not necessary if applying over C1 / CSL).
• Ensure panel is warmer than 5 degrees Celsius.
• Apply 5 – 10 drops of EXOv4 to the supplied applicator and work the liquid into the pad to get an even saturation.
• Apply to the panel using overlapping strokes, working an area of around 60cm x 60cm at a time.
• If the panel is 15 degrees C or lower, allow EXOv4 to cure for two minutes, then remove residue with a soft clean microfibre. For temperatures between 15 and 25 degrees C, allow one minute to elapse prior to buffing. For temperatures higher than 25 degrees, buff immediately.
• With a new microfibre, buff panels again to ensure all residue entirely removed.
• Apply a second layer of EXOv4 immediately, to ensure ease of buffing
• Allow EXOv4 to cure for a minimum of 12 hours prior to exposing it to rain.
• Allow at least 1 week before washing your vehicle.

Storage:

• Unopened bottles of EXOv4 have a 12 month shelf life from time of purchase
• Opened bottles of EXOv4 should be stored in a cool, dry area out of direct sunlight
• Opened bottles have a maximum life of 3 months

C1 is extremely easy to apply and ideal for someone new to applying ceramic coatings, or for someone who wants a coating that is durable, but not too much hassle to apply.

With good gloss retention, C1 Crystal Lacquer becomes the functional surface of the cars paintwork.

C1 forms a crystalline film which is hard - this characteristic makes it effective at preventing minor scratching from poor wash technique on relatively soft automotive paint.

The coating is good for gloss retention, but because it does not add much additional gloss, it is ideal for matte paint finishes.

Application:

• Only apply in temperatures 5°c and above, indoors, out of direct sunlight
• Wear gloves provided
• Soak the application pad with several drops of product
• Replace the lid on the bottle and set to one side - holding in your hand while detailing your car may promote premature curing
• Spread product on a small panel, or ½ a large panel, at a time
• Remove residue immediately with a MF1 ZeroR Microfibre Buff Cloth
• You may need to buff the same area several times to remove residue, so use at least two MF1 cloths at any one time. Make sure you rotate the cloths quickly so that the C1 does not cure in them - this can make residue harder to remove
• Change your application pad after 3 to 4 applications
• If you miss removing residue and it cures fully, you should re polish this area and reapply C1
• As soon as you finish, put your microfibres in water, wash them as soon as you can to prevent the product crystallising and making them unusable
• Leave your vehicle indoors for 12 hours before exposing it to the elements
• If you are applying EXO Ultra Durable Hydrophobic Coating or C2 Liquid Crystal over the C1, leave at least 4 hour before application
• Store in a cool, dry place
• Use product within 3 months of opening
