Q2R Marine Wash: Wash your yacht, jet ski or regatta boat safely and effectively. Q²R Wash cleans and removes dirt and residue as well as light organic contamination. Possible use on all exterior surfaces, including wood.
Q2R Marine Polish Step 1: Makes quick work of any and all surface imperfections that tend to collect on your boat’s surfaces. The high-quality Japanese abrasives used in the formula of Marine Polish Step 1 allows it to easily cut through even the most severe oxidation and defects that plague your boat’s gelcoat! Because Marine Polish Step 1 doesn’t use any silicone or fillers, the results you see when you buff it off are true results that won’t just fade as the fillers do. Marine Polish Step 1 is also designed to finish off to a much higher gloss than you would expect from such an aggressively abrasive polish!
Q2R Marine Polish Step 2: This will correct moderate to light defects and polish out to a glossy and perfect finish. Marine Polish Step 2 is a great product to use either after your primary correction step or as a one-step gloss refresher! The lack of fillers in Marine Polish Step 2’s formula means that you can trust that the results you see are there for the long-haul! The low dust generation of Marine Polish Step 2 will make clean-up and buffing off a breeze!
Q2R Degrease: Designed to remove polishing oil and rests of former protection in order to create a smooth and clean surface, ready to receive a new protection such our Q2R GelCoat for boats & marinecraft.
Q2R GelCoat: The ultimate protective ceramic coat for gelcoat and yacht paint. Protects against UV-rays and oxidation. Repels dirt and minimizes stains. Highly water mark resistant. Easy to use 1 layer formula.

The Kit is Definitely Worth The Money
Boat is a 22ft light cream fibreglass walkaround.
Polishers.
For a boat this size you need both polishers. The Sensei Plus 21mm is great for doing large areas like the hull but can’t get into those tighter areas. If you had just the Sensei you are looking at a lot of hand polishing. The Grasshopper is nice and light to use to get into tighter areas but would take a lot longer to do the larger areas than the Sensei. The kit could be improved by adding a small orbital polisher. I bought one with a 1”, 2” and 3” backing plates and two different extensions. This meant I had very little hand polishing. Both machines worked flawlessly.
Polishes Step 1, Step 2
Step 1 does a great job. I could see very little improvement after Step 2. I think you would see the benefits of Step 2 on dark coloured boats where swirls etc. are much more notable.
Polishing Pads.
I ended up using just the green pads. If you wipe a microfibres across a section compounded with the green pad and a section compounded with the orange or red pad, the cloth slides smoothly over where the green pad was used but grabs where the orange and red were used. The orange and red would be more suited to applying wax. As the kit has a ceramic coat I didn’t use the orange or red pads.
Ceramic Coating
Easy to apply. I applied it on a cool low humidity day. Looks great. Warning an almost full bottle of ceramic coat knocked off a table onto bitumen shatters. Don’t ask me how I know.
