Use Meguiar’s M105 Mirror Glaze Ultra-Cut Compound to remove scratches, severe swirls/holograms, acid rain and other defects from your paint finish and leave it with a best-in-class mirror-like gloss. Application
Method 1: Applying by hand
- Distribute a small amount of compound on a Meguiar’s Soft Foam Applicator Pad
- Work in a 1-2 square foot area in a circular pattern, making 4-5 overlapping passes per section to ensure that the compound has been properly applied.
- Without letting the product dry, use a fresh, clean Meguiar’s Supreme Shine Microfiber Towel to remove the residue. Flip your towel to a clean side for a final wipe.
- Reapply the compound if you didn’t remove the defects with the first application. Apply in sections like this over the vehicle.
Method 2: Applying by Meguiar’s MT300 Dual Action Polisher
- Attach Meguiar’s Red Foam DA Cutting Disc to the MT300 DA Polisher. Dispense a small amount of the compound directly onto the pad.
- Set the MT300 DA Polisher speed between 4,800-5.800 OPM’s. Work in a 2’ x 2’ section applying 2 to 3 overlapping passes with moderate pressure, followed by light pressure for following 2 passes. Do not let product fully dry.
- Wipe off the residue with a fresh, clean Meguiar’s Supreme Shine Microfiber Towel. Flip your towel to a clean side for a final wipe.
- Reapply the compound if you didn’t remove the defects with the first application. Apply in sections like this over the vehicle.
Method 3: Applying by Rotary Buffer
- Work one section at a time. Set rotary buffer to approximately 1000-1500 RPM’s.
- Dispense a small amount of the compound directly onto the paint and begin working in a 2’ x 2’ area with overlapping passes. Continue working until a light film remains.
- Wipe off residue before the product dries with a fresh, clean Meguiar’s Supreme Shine Microfiber Towel. Flip your towel to a clean side for a final wipe.
- Reapply the compound if you didn’t remove the defects with the first application. Apply the in sections like this over the vehicle.
