Our Microfibre pads comprise a layer of our German foam which acts to contour to the surface of your vehicle as you pass the polisher over the panel with the microfibre component sitting on top that layer.
They come in 3", 5.2" and 6.2" or (76.2 /132.1 /157.5 mm) diameters to suit the 3", 5" and 6" backing pads respectively.
We recommend applying minimal pressure and dialling the polisher speed to 3 as a start before you progress with higher speeds for effective cutting. What we love about the microfibre pads is its versatility. This enables it to be used for both cutting and polishing. One of its other advantage over polishing foam pads is the ability to remove fine swirls more effectively where the foam pad struggles to reach the embedded swirls unless done with multiple passes.

These microfibre cutting and polishing pads are excellent value - they can be super aggressive though, so beware. I managed to “burn through” the paint on the ridge of my bonnet, as I wasn’t paying attention closely enough. But on the flat panels, there were no issues and with the right speed selected on the DA, they work great. It’s also found it best to clean them between panels, by blowing them out with compressed air.

Because of the good price, I wasn't optimistic, but they work as well as more expensive pads. I bought a number of them, so I have one pad for every step and every compound, so there's no contamination, and less need to wash them, and they last longer.
