Power Compatibility: The Active 3.0 is supplied with a 15A plug due to its brief startup current of approximately 10.6A. It can be plugged directly into a 15A outlet, or used with a standard 10A household outlet via an approved Amphibian 15A-to-10A adaptor. Once running, current draw drops below 10A. Most residential customers with standard 10A outlets will require the adaptor.
