3-Lamp Shortwave Infrared Curing for Larger Panels
The FY-TECH FY-3W is a workshop-grade, three-lamp shortwave infrared curing system that covers a 1200 x 1000 mm area, enough for a full bonnet, roof section or two doors at once. You set the panel temperature (40–100 °C) and time (0–99 mins), choose Routine or Pulse curing, and switch each lamp on or off to suit the size of the repair. A hydraulic lifter and 360° rotating head make it easy to position over any panel.

⚡ Electrical requirements
This unit draws 3.3 kW (about 14 A at 240 V), which is more than a standard 10 A power point can supply. It needs a 15 A (or higher) single-phase circuit with a circuit breaker, and the manufacturer specifies a supply cable of at least 4 mm². Getting the Best Results
- Keep the lamps parallel to the panel at 30–50 cm.
- Make sure the surface is clean and free of water before curing.
- Set temperature and time to your paint manufacturer's technical data sheet.
- Ceramic coatings: IR curing speeds up hardening and reduces the risk of high spots. Always follow the coating manufacturer's IR curing instructions for time, distance and temperature, as these vary between brands.
