Soft99's Polishing Compound is the second stage in a full three-stage paint correction — designed to remove the haze and marring left behind by Cutting Compound and bring the paintwork up to a clean, machine-polished gloss. Suitable for all automotive paint and free of silicones, fillers, or gloss-enhancers, so the result on the panel is the actual condition of the paint, not masked imperfections.
Where it fits in the correction process
Use after Cutting Compound to refine the surface, then follow with Finishing Compound (optional) for the final clarity step. This three-stage approach gives you control: dial up or back depending on the defects you're chasing and how the paint is responding. The clean, residue-free finish makes Polishing Compound an excellent prep step before applying a ceramic coating or sealant — coatings bond best to bare, refined paint.

Recommended Pad & Speed
Sponge / Euro foam buff pad @ 1500 RPM. If sandpaper marks remain after Cutting, use a wool pad for additional cut.
