Gyeon Q2M Wetcoat is a spray on-rinse off sealant that is designed to boost protection and gloss within minutes. It can be used over existing coatings or sealants to add more protection, or even applied to an uncoated surface to offer immediate protection.
The effect is nearly instantaneous, with the surfaces becoming extremely hydrophobic, beading water and glossy straight after rinsing. Gyeon Wetcoat offers amazing durability of up to 3 months for a product that can be applied in seconds due to the high SiO2 content. It also provides great protection with a contact angle of over 90 degrees, meaning water sheets and beads off very easily reducing the chance of water spotting.
Ideal as a quick-hit or a regular maintenance product to extend and enhance coatings or sealants, Wetcoat can be used over most surfaces like paint, trim, glass and wheels etc.
How to:
Ensure your car is washed and rinse well. Gyeon Q2M Wetcoat is already pre-mixed to ensure the correct & safe strength for paintwork, so shake the bottle well.
Spray Wetcoat onto all exterior surfaces evenly and thinly, using on average about 80-100ml to coat your car. Follow by rinsing off thoroughly with a high pressure cleaner to remove all residue – you will actually see it activate and bubble. (Gyeon recommends usage of a high pressure cleaner for this).
Once you have rinsed thoroughly, use your Mofo towel, Magic Micro or Bigboi Blowr for that streak free finish!
Always test in an inconspicuous spot for compatibility before using any product.

I would have given this perhaps 4 or 5 stars if I were only commenting upon the efficacy of the product and the ability for it to deliver as advertised. But the reason for the 3 star review is that in my opinion and experience, the actual circumstances where a detailer can actually successfully use this product with zero side effects (or risk of side effects) may - some in circumstances - be relatively low. Why? Because as per the instructions, you cannot use this in sunlight (you also cannot use it in heat or humidity). Thinking that perhaps mid Spring sunlight at 7.00 AM was still OK to use this as per the instructions, I was surprised to find that even that was beyond what this product is designed to handle - you simply cannot remove it quickly enough and so you get smears that require a subsequent wash to remove. Add humidity and heat and the problems are even worse. Bottom line is that yes, I can use this product successfully, but literally only in darkness in cool weather here in Northeastern Victoria where the humidity never,ever falls below 50%. This in turn severely limits its usefulness since at those times, noise regulations do not permit the use of a pressure washer - meaning the only viable technique is to wet the washing microfiber, put it on the panel and completely rinse off immediately with the hose. In the end, I can realistically only use this product once or twice per year. Then again, it does work very well if you can navigate around these shortcomings.
