P&S ODOR DOC: The Odour Elimination Kit is a quick release vapour process that eliminates stubborn odours including odour causing bacteria, mould, mildew, smoke, etc. ODOR DOC quickly treats enclosed areas with the most powerful (chlorine dioxide gas) penetrating technology available. I had high hopes as the previous owner was clearly a heavy smoker

For your specific situation involving a strong smoke odor, a regular odor eliminator won't be sufficient. What you need is an ozone generator. I purchased this with high hopes, and I was absolutely amazed at how well this product works. Followed all of the instructions as required and the results were absolutely incredible, I smoked in my car and had some other spillages which did leave a scent that was mildly unpleasant.
After just one use the smells from my car were gone like they were never there in the first place, even when I sold my car a week after they didn’t smell a thi by, I followed up by using the typical black ice tree
I will use this again just to keep the smell of smoke and other nasty stuff out of my car
