The 7" pads are perfect for your 6" backing pads. Similarly, the 6" pads suit your 5" backing pad.
The green cutting pad has the highest density foam suited for jobs requiring heavy paint correction.
The yellow polishing pad has a medium density foam suited for slight to medium paint correction. It is used after cutting to remove heavy swirl marks created when cutting.
The red finishing pad is ideal for the application of sealants and waxes after polishing to bring through that gloss and new car shine.
