Super fine finishing compound

Features:

Perfect for:

  • Black paintwork
  • Soft paint
  • Haze/swirl removal
  • Mirror like finish

Instructions: Work on a cool surface in shade. Shake well. Always work in a 40cm x 40cm area.

Application: Apply 2-3 pea sized drops to a finishing pad, such as Apex Customs’ Finishing Pad. Start on a low-speed setting with the polisher to prime the pad and surface. Increase the speed and allow the weight of the polisher to do the work. Work area in 3-4 passes until compound becomes clear. Remove residue with a clean microfibre cloth.

Tips:

  • Decontaminate the surface prior to beginning any polishing/compounding
  • Do not over-saturate the pad with polish
  • Clean pads frequently with compressed air or if not available, ensure fresh pads are on hand.

    The Apex Customs Clarity series are effective compounds/ polishes and are excellent value for money

    The Apex Customs Clarity series are effective compounds/ polishes and are excellent value for money. In my use so far they have met my expectations. They don't compare to Menzerna which is a level above, in my opinion, based on the relatively small amount of time that I have used the Clarity series products.

    Impressed

    I used the 3d One finishing polish on half the bonnet and I was more than happy with the result. On the other side I used this Apex product and though the final finish was indistinguishable on the eye from 3D One the feel from Apex was a little more silky smooth. I wanted to confirm any differences so I used a IPA and also washed it afterwards. Still Apex gave a slightly better feel which also gave the panel a small hydrophobic boost.
